I think this may be Chlorocoma assimilis as Chlorocoma dichloraria should have two faint white zig-zag lines across each wing.

A first sighting of this species for natureMapr;s Canberra and Southern Tablelands region. Nice photos of the larvae apparently match those for the species which can be seen on Lepidoptera Butterfly House.

Moths of Victoria (Part 5) makes it clear two distinguishing features are present here for the male of the species: black margin to golden yellow hindwing and the diagonal the diffuse forewing line on the forewing terminating at the outer wing tip. Whitish colouring at the base of the forewing not visible, Some males don't have the black margin to the hindwing,
